“Get some rest king” – Davido shows support for Rema after the latter cancels shows due to health concerns

The afrobeat star has broken the heart of fans hoping to party with him this December.

Nigerian music sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has shown support for colleague Rema, after the latter announced that he is taking a break from performances this December due to health concerns.

Davido posted this on his Instagram story on Wednesday, 29th of November, 2023, sending affirming words to Rema and letting him know he has done a great job so far. He also urged him to get as much rest as he needs.

“The Job ain’t easy physically and mentally!! … You’ve done Africa and the world proud .beyond expectations… get some rest King @heisrema come back stronger,” the story read.

This comes after Rema announced on his story that he had canceled all shows scheduled for December to focus on taking care of himself.

He said, “Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing Anywhere this December, been years of touring I’ve ignored my health & I need time to recuperate. 2024 we go again.”

His decision has broken the hearts of many fans who were hoping to party with the “Calm Down” crooner this December.
