Briella Neme, whose husband and friends were allegedly attacked by Burna Boy and his associates, has narrated what happened on that day.
This surfaces after a Twitter user, who claims to be an eyewitness, tagged her claims of the incident at the Obi Cubana club as false.
According to the user identified as @AfricansOracle, Briella was the one trying to seek the attention of the singer as she went up to him to take photos with him.
In a swift response to the post, Briella posted videos from the incident, claiming that that was not how it happened.
As posted on her story, Briella claimed that Burna Boy and his family tried to pay her family ‘hush’ money for the incident.
She also claimed that Burna Boy’s parents visited her parents to resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, Briella gave a detailed account of what happened at the nightclub on her Instagram story hours ago.
According to her, she and her friends visited Nigeria from the United States of America to attend her childhood friend’s wedding ceremony.
Briella narrated how she was approached three times by one of Burna Boy’s friends requesting her audience with the singer.
She said her denial to accept the request led to a fight between her friends and Burna Boy’s men, although, it was resolved briefly by the security personnel at the club.
A fight broke out again with Burna Boy’s friends starting it, which ultimately led to the shooting. Briella alleged that Burna Boy gave the signal to start the shooting and was laughing at the whole scene.
While she was screaming for help, she discovered her partner and her friend have been shot in the head and leg respectively.
