The Italian is currently fighting for his life amidst reports that emerged today about his death.
Super agent Mino Raiola has stated that he is currently fighting for his life in hospital, condemning earlier reports that spread on social media claiming he had died.
It was widely reported on Thursday that the popular agent had passed away at the age of 54, which prompted football fans to share their condolences with his family.
However, the 54-year old has taken to social media to express his disgust at the fake news that has since circulated online.
“Current health status for the ones wondering: pissed off second time in 4 months they kill me. Seem also able to resuscitate,” Raiola wrote on Twitter amid the speculations over his health.
In addition, the super agent’s very close friend, Jose Fortes Rodriguez has slammed reports of his death by saying: “Mino isn’t dead. those reports are nonsense.”
His doctor at the San Raffaelle hospital in Milan, Doctor Alberto Zangrillo also added: “I’m outraged by the phone calls from pseudo-journalists speculating on the life of a man who is fighting to survive.”
Raiola had previously visited the hospital in January to undergo surgery for an unspecified issue. A statement on his Twitter account, at the time, read:
“Mino Raiola is undergoing ordinary medical checks that require anaesthesia. All was planned and no emergency surgery happened.”
