“Is there no prophet in Israel?”- Ex-Deeper life youth instructor slams Kumuyi for inviting non-deeper life members to the church’s youth program.

An ex-deeper life youth instructor, Gideon Akande has come out on social media to slam his former church, Deeper Life and it’s founder, Pastor Kumuyi.

According to Akande, Pastor Kumuyi has “engaged Philistines to their altars” and is obsessed with enticing the youths of the church with popular names.

The ex-youth minister openly expressed his opinions concerning Pastor Kumuyi’s actions via an open letter shared on Facebook on December 27, 2021.

Akande went as far as telling Pastor Kumuyi to step.dowm from his leadership role in the ministry of he is tired rather than destroying what he has built over the years.

In his words;

“Sir, Pastor Kumuyi, if you’re tired,go home and rest but don’t ruin what you have built for years because I am scared.”

While responding to comments concerning his open letter, Akande blasted Pastor Kumuyi for trying to pamper the present day youths.

He said;

“It seems Baba is ready to pamper and please the youth with everything now, even if it will include inviting “Christain Comedians” to youth programs?

“Does Baba want to finish the youths before he finishes his race?”
