January Clear-Out: Pochettino Set to Sell Seven Chelsea Players in Major Squad Overhaul

Chelsea are willing to sell up to seven players as manager Mauricio Pochettino attempts to transform the Premier League club into a genuine title contender.

The Blues suffered their seventh league defeat in 16 games on Sunday, losing 2-0 to Everton.

The result saw Pochettino’s men drop to 12th place on the table.

Chelsea are now below London rivals Fulham and Brentford, putting Pochettino under pressure at Stamford Bridge.

TEAMtalk reports that conversations have been ongoing between the ex-PSG boss and directors about which players are not performing at a high enough level to be at Chelsea for the foreseeable future.

Those deemed not good enough include Noni Madueke, Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Ian Maatsen, and Malo Gusto.

They will all be made available for sale and replacements with higher quality will be available in the next two transfer windows.
