The Portuguese star could be on his way out of Manchester United after a bombshell interview of him criticising the club.

Workers have been spotted ripping off a mural featuring Portuguese Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo from the side of Old Trafford, sparking further speculations about the future of the player.

In a bombshell interview with football journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo criticised everything about the club including the manager Erik Ten Haag.

Ronaldo disclosed that he felt betrayed by the club and does not have any respect for Erik Ten Haag.

One of the major talking points from the interview was Ronaldo’s criticism of the lack of evolution at the club since he left in 2008 for Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

Shortly after the release of the interview, Manchester United released a statement saying they would consider their response after the full facts have been established.

“Manchester United note the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established,” the club said.

“Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.”

But it seems the club have started taking action concerning the situation as workers were spotted removing a mural which features the Portugal international.
