The governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of failure as the insecurity level in the country rises.

During a meeting with traditional rulers from Ogoniland held on Thursday, April 29th, Wike said that Nigeria is now on life support.

Still standing his ground that APC has failed the people of Nigeria, Wike urged Nigerians not to re-elect APC as the party has failed in it’s primary responsibility to protect people’s lives and property.

According to him, the citizens of Nigeria have failed in asking questions concerning their well-being and holding public officers accountable for their manifestoes declared during elections, which on his own part, makes them partly responsible for the  socio-economic and security challenges.

Wike lamented that the security situation under the APC-led government is so bad that even a governor’s safety is not certain, The Nation reports.

The Governor then went further to challenge the federal government of Nigeria to take up their responsibility in decimating terrorists and bandits
