Nigerian woman who woke up 4:50 am to cook for husband gets tomatoes, peppers, and onions as a gift

A Nigerian woman, @_Debbie_OA on X (formerly Twitter), received tomatoes, peppers, and onions as a gift from social media users after reports surfaced that she woke up at 4:50 am to cook for her husband.

X users conveyed that @_Debbie_OA woke up early to prepare a meal for her husband upon learning that a colleague at his workplace had brought food for him.

Subsequently, she has garnered donations of over 2 million naira from social media users in appreciation for being a supportive wife and partner.

She also tweeted that she used part of the funds to buy a new fridge, bed, microwave, and a few other household items.

Shortly after, she shared on her social media handle the kind gesture of a user who had sent tomatoes, peppers, and onions to her address in support of her dedication as a good wife amidst the ongoing contributions she’s receiving on social media.
