Olu of Warri visits Delta Community as crises brew

The Olu of Warri Kingdom in Delta State, HRM. Atuwatse III today moved to Koko Community in Warri North Local Government Area with a view to settling a brewing crisis in the land.

Our Correspondent who monitored the happenings in Koko Community reports that the monarch cancelled all appointments at the Palace in Warri today.

It was learnt that there has been an internal crisis as it concerns Koko Community Trust.

The internal crisis led to different leaderships having different factions.

But the revered monarch moved from his palace to Koko with some of his chiefs to settle the crisis that has been brewing.

In a telephone chat with Our Correspondent, Chief Robinson Ariyo said the crisis in Koko Community is an internal one.

According to the renowned legal practitioner, “Their Community Trust. There’s a faction there and Some persons are trying to misrepresent the facts to the palace upon which the palace acted and give a confirmation.

“So, the palace want to go there and see and hear directly because serious violence is brewing there now.”

Chief Ariyo stated that the reason the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III moved to Koko Community is to avoid a crisis that will lead to loss of lives.
