Omodewu: He was a pillar of strength – Senator mourns Oyo APC chair

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has declared that the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, was a pillar of strength to the party.

Alli made this declaration on Monday.

DAILY POST reports that Omodewu’s death was announced on Monday.

Our correspondent reports that Omodewu died at the age of 62 in the United States of America.

Alli in the statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to DAILY POST, described Omodewu’s death as a monumental loss to the party and the entire state.

Alli in the statement said, “His leadership was marked by a deep commitment to unity and the growth of the party, and his contributions to the political landscape of the state will never be forgotten.

“Chief Isaac Omodewu was more than just a party leader; he was a pillar of strength and a guiding light for many within our party.

“May Almighty Allah grant Chief Omodewu eternal rest and comfort his family and loved ones. This is a great loss, but we take solace in the fact that he lived a life of service and left behind a legacy that will continue to guide us”.
