“Pretend like say you be stammerer” — Corps member reveals scope she received to not be posted to a school

A female NYSC corper shares a funny update she received from her ‘plug’, so she doesn’t get posted to teach in a school for her service year.

The video was shared to the corper’s TikTok account, @susuofaka.

She had lamented to her NYSC plug about not wanting to serve in a school and the plug gave her some instructions on how to get around it.

The plug advised her not to speak good English but pretend like she had a terrible knowledge of grammar while submitting her letter to the school.

She also added that she should stammer while at it so the school labels her unfit for a teaching position in their classroom.

From the corper’s subsequent comments, the plan worked and the school rejected her offer to teach so she was posted to another location.

The new update has left many shocked, while others are also willing to try it out when posted to a school for their service year.
