Stella is not saying the truth, she has no access to my father’s account – Mr. Ibu’s son

There seems to be a family drama going on concerning the donations for the veteran actor.

Mr Ibu’s second son, Daniel Okafor has squashed claims by his step mother Stella, who stated that she has been denied access to her husband’s account by his adopted daughter Jazmine.

During an interview with the Punch, the actor’s second son also stated that he his the only one that has access to his father’s account and not Jasmine. He also mentioned that he is also the actor’s next of kin.

He said, “My name is Daniel Okafor; I am John Okafor’s second son. There is no truth in what Stella Maris has been sharing online. Jasmine does not have access to that account; I have access to it. I am the signatory to the account and my father’s next of kin. She is my stepmother. My mother is not around at the moment.”

This comes following Stella’s outburst on Instagram, stating that she had been locked out of accessing her husband’s account by his adopted daughter Jazmine. Stella claimed she was manipulated by jazmine into giving up control of the the account.

She claimed, “I do not have access to the main Access bank account where people make donations. It is being secretly controlled by Jazmine yet she is cooking up all kinds of lies and propaganda against me to keep absolute control of that account. How she manipulated her way and took control of that account is a story for another day.”

Recall that Mr. Ibu recently had one of his legs amputated in an attempt to save his life from an illness he has been battling with.

In other to foot the bills, the family sought for help from compassionate Nigerians, who have since contributed their own quartile to saving his life. However, there seems to be some tension among the actor’s family regarding the donations.
