Student who took fowl to pay up his pending school fees gets full scholarship.

An SS2 student of Holy Trinity High School in Kenya, Matthew Simiyu had been sent home due to his pending school fees of KSh 34,000(N128,000) .

According to reports, Matthew had not paid his school fees for over a year, when he was asked to bring anything from that  would serve as money to pay up his debt.

That was when he went home and carried his mother fowl, with the hope of using it to settle part of his debt.

He Said;

When I arrived my school head asked me to bring anything to cater for my education and had no option but to bring my mother’s (fowl) for the fees.”

After giving the fowl worth KSh 1,000(N3787) to pay for part of his fees, he was still left with a remaining balance of KSh(125,000) to pay.

Amisi also promised to fund Matthew’s secondary school education.

However, luckily for the young man, Area MP Caleb Amisi heard about his issue and helped him out.
