The prolific Norwegian scored another goal to increase his tally in the Premier league.
Premier League Champions, Manchester City recorded another win away from home on Saturday as they defeated 10-man Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0.
The champions didn’t waste time scoring as Jack Grealish scored on his 100th PL appearance, just one minute into the game courtesy of a delicious cross into the box by Kevin De Bruyne.
Just 16 minutes later, Erling Haaland raced through on goal to score City’s second of the game, making it 14 goals in 10 games for his new club.
Wolves mystery was compounded further as Nathan Collins was shown a red card for a dreadful challenge on Jack Grealish.
Things remained quiet for the rest of the first half, but City were not done yet.
Kevin De Bruyne delivered another low cross into the box, which was converted by Phil Foden in the 69th minute. The Belgian has now provided five assists in his last four games.
Haaland was made in the Lab
For Haaland, it’s as if the Premier League is a stroll in the park for him. The Norwegian has now scored 11 goals in seven Premier League games this season.
For his performances during the month of August, Haaland was named the Premier League Player of the month and he seems like that won’t be the last for him.
Fans believes if he keeps going at this rate, there is a possibility that he could be the highest goal scorer, whilst also breaking the PL goal record.
