“This is the strongest Manchester United team I’ve played in”- Paul Pogba reveals

The France international says he’s happy with the team and the management of Ole Gunner Solskjaer.

Paul Pogba believes that this current Manchester United side is the ‘strongest’ he’s ever played in which he believes is capable of winning trophies.

The 28-year old has witnessed speculations over his future in recent weeks, with less than a year left on his contract with the club.

These speculations have been attributed to the fact that United lacked the individual player’s quality to surround Paul Pogba. United however, have had a superb transfer window as they have signed Sancho, Varane and the mighty Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

With no doubt, United are in pole position to challenge for titles this season and Pogba doesn’t feel any less.

“There have always been strong Manchester United teams, but this is definitely the strongest [I’ve played in], Pogba told TV2 after Wolves win.

“We have a strong team that can become champions. We know how hard it is, but we will do our best to lift the trophy this season.”

Pogba refused to give any clear answers about his future, maintaining that he’s “very happy” at Old Trafford.

“To be honest, I am very happy, I enjoy myself. The Premier League is back, I play football again after a nice holiday, so it is very, very good,” he added.

“There is a huge difference from last season. Last season I had corona[virus] and no seasonal run-up, so it took a long time to get back in shape. This season I have trained, I have had a good start and I have been healthy. I feel much better and it makes a huge difference physically.”

Speaking about his manager, Pogba believes Ole is capable of winning trophies with this team, highlighting his man management skills and knowledge of the club as key factors.

“He (Ole) is the manager of this club for this reason. He knows the players and has got the ability to do it. I’m sure he is in the position to do that.”

“I have known Ole for a long time and we have always had a good relationship, and he is good with all the other players as well. He was here as a player, so he knows the club very well. It has been very good since he came in.”
