Tiwa Savage accuses Davido of physical threats, writes to police to intervenes

The singer says it is beginning to feel like some serious harassment, both online offline.

Nigerian superstar singer, Tiwa Savage has written to the Lagos State Police Command, accusing Davido of threatening her life and her team members.

In a document dated January 8, 2024, Tiwa Savage stated that Davido promised to ‘Fk her up’ because of a picture she posted on her story which had Davido’s estranged baby mama Sophia Momodu in it. She claimed that Davido lashed out to her on Instagram via a direct message after she posted a picture of her and Sophia.

The statement read, “On the 23rd of December, I made a post which included myself and Sophia on my Instagram Story, a feature on Instagram, which allows you to put up a post for 24 hours post, and Mr Adeleke send messages to my manager, who is also a part of his management team, that I shouldn’t worry and should never say a word to him, and that I was taunting him, uttering very disrespectful malicious and derogatory words to my person.”

The singer claimed that she replied to “Mr David Adeleke’s messages and told him not to reach out to me especially as I feel like I have been there for him and his daughter Imade and more importantly when he lost his son.”

Furthermore, Tiwa stated that after their spat online, she received calls and texts from mutual connections asking her what she did to offend Davido. These mutuals, according to her, stated that Davido was offended that she was friends with his estranged baby mama. “He is also painting the exchange to look like I was the aggressor. He has also told our mutual connections to warn me to be careful in Lagos because he was going to fk me up.”

“This is beginning to feel like some form of online and offline harassment not just to me, but also members of my team,” she added.

This comes after fans noticed that both artistes weren’t following each other. Shortly after that, her ex-husband Teebillz called out Davido multiple times on social media, stating that he disrespected his family.

Teebillz further stated that he was done trying to settle the matter behind closed doors and would teach Davido a lesson.
