Trending video: Soldiers brutalize veteran actor, Chinwetalu Agu for wearing Biafra regalia [Watch]

A video circulating on social media platforms shows the moment veteran Nollywood actor, Chinwetalu Agu was being assaulted by military officers in Anambra state.

It was learnt that the soldiers brutalised him allegedly because of the Biafran outfit he wore.

Chinwetalu was driving his production van arounf Upper Iweka road in Onitsha when the officers stopped him and reportedly questioned him for wearing the Biafran regalia.

He was asked to step down from his van which had “Chinwetalu Films” boldly written at the side and was searched.

Eyewitnesses say there was a verbal exchange between the movie star and the military men who wanted to arrest him.

The situation appears to have escalated as footage shared online showed the officers beating and man-handling the actor.
