A video of Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, showing off his football skills at the stadium has popped up online.

Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State and uncle of well-known Nigerian singer Davido, astounded the players at the Osun State stadium by showcasing his football skills among the local players.

The governor was seen in the entertaining video trying to kick the ball into the pitch, and when he succeeded, spectators cheered and laughed.

This humorous show is taking place in recent criticism levelled against Governor Adeleke and his Osun State administration.

Recall that in October 2023, Daniel Regha attacked Davido and the governor, saying the musician was acting as if his family owned the state.

Some residents’ resentment was stoked by their perception that the governor had broken his commitments.

Davido fiercely defended his uncle on Twitter in reaction to the allegations, saying that he was in favour of Governor Adeleke’s leadership.

Just a few hours ago, Davido made news of purchasing a new property in the affluent Eko Hotel neighbourhood in Lagos State.

Davido posted the enormously valuable N10 billion recently bought landed property with pride on his Instagram account.
