Popular reality star and singer, Whitemoney opens up on why he has lost interest in winning a Grammy Award, as he eyes the Headies Award.
It would be recalled that long before now, Whitemoney had revealed that his ambition as a musician was to have a Grammy award to his name.
He had followed up on his dream by dropping hits upon hits with the hope of topping the charts.
In a recent update, Whitemoney revealed that he is no longer interested in winning the Grammy award because it has become compromised and not as coveted as it used to be.
He made this known while speaking in an interview with the content creator, Egungun.
Whitemoney has revealed that what he is targeting now is winning a Headies Award instead.
The reality star said …
“The way things are going now, Grammy don cast. Make we manage Headies. I’m not sure if I’m still pursuing my desire of winning Grammys. Now I’m pursuing any award that keeps my relevant. Because after what Grammy organisers did to our superstars, Davido and Burna Boy at the last award ceremony, it’s now looking like they are using Nigeria for publicity stunt.
“But never say never. My style of music is unique. If it takes me to the Grammys, no wahala.”
