Yoruba Nollywood actor, Sisi Quadri has died at 44

The news of his death has sent shock waves to fans and colleagues at large.

Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji popularly known as Sisi Quadri has died at the age of 44.

In a tribute post posted on his Instagram page, Jigan Babaoja, who is a colleague of yhe deceased actor, confirmed his death. “It’s sad to say goodbye! Quadri ! May the lord grant you peace ✌️ R.I.P @iamsisiquadir,” his post read.

Sisi Quadri is popularly known for his raining-insult-on-people personality in movies. He was popular for his in the 2004 film, Seniyan Seranko and Ebudola in 2020 amongst others. He was also part of the cast for the new Netflix original, Anikúlápó: Rise of the Spectre.

However, he had moved into the online skit-making space in recent years, and was beginning to make grounds for himself.

Although the cause of his death has not been made public, but reports say it was from an “undisclosed illness”.

Tributes have been trooping in for him on social media from fans, celebrities and colleagues alike.

Tunde Ola Yusuf, a colleague wrote “Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Allah we have come, and unto him we shall all return – May God rest your soul Bro @iamsisiquadir”
