Young man and woman flogged for allegedly promoting ‘hookup’ in their community (video)

A young man and woman have been flogged by members of their community for allegedly promoting promiscuity in the area.

Some local news platforms in Ghana reported that the lady who was paraded alongside the man at the forecourt of the Wa Naa’s Palace on Tuesday, May 31, and lashed by a group, has been advertising that she’s a commercial sex worker and did hookups.

In a video shared by TV3, the young man who was featured in the hook-up video with the lady was also given hot lashes.

It was also reported that Elders at Wa have decided that anytime they come across any of such videos, they should look for the persons behind them and deal with them since Islam frowns on such acts.
