5 Extraordinary Women In The Bible.

5 Extraordinary Women In The Bible.

There were so many women mentioned in the Bible, but out of the many, I feel there were 5 great women, whose stories were extraordinary, great, not so common but holds so much power.
Wanna know who these women are? Let’s get right into the list then.

  1. Jael: Jael was the wife of Heber the Kenite, she killed the commander at that time, Sisera with a tent smoke. She fulfilled Deborah’s prophecy that a woman would have victory over Sisera. (Judges 4)
  2. Mary Magdalene: A prostitute from who Jesus cast out 7 demons. She witnessed the crucifixion of Christ and she was also the first person to see Jesus rise on the third day (Luke 8:2-3)
  3. Rahab: A known prostitute from Jericho, who hid two of Isreal’s spies and was later spared by Isreal’s army (Joshua 2)
  4. Deborah: The only female judge recorded in the Bible who led Isreal to victory over the Canaanites, and also prophesied a woman would lead them to victory (Judges 4:5)
  5. Hannah: She was a wife to Elkanah and a mother to Samuel the prophet. She was barren and prayed to God for a son that in return, she would give him back to God.

These are 5 women whose stories I believe were spectacular and unique in their way.
