Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has lost his brother, Sani Dangote on Sunday, November 14th.
According to reports, Sani Dangote who died in the United States (US) died of a protracted illness.
The news of his death was confirmed in an announcement made by the Dangote Group via the industry’s official Facebook account.
The Facebook Caption read;
“It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to Almighty Allah that we announce the passing of our Group Vice President, Alhaji Sani Dangote, today, 14th November.
May Allah SWT grant him mercy and admit him in Aljannat-al-Firdaus!
Sani Dangote, before his death, was the vice president of the Dangote Group, which is one of the largest the largest manufacturing industries in Nigeria.
Premium Times reports that, Sani has investments in manufacturing, banking agriculture and oil services.
He also headed the boards of many companies in the conglomerates like, Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, Dangote refinery, Dangote Agro Sacks, Fertilise firm and Petrochemical.
Sani Dangote like his brother, was a successful business entrepreneur, he is also widely known as the Chairman of Dansa Holdings, the subsidiary of Dangote Group.
He owned several other businesses like Dansa Foods Limited, Sagas energy Limited, Agro Allied Limited, Dangote Farms Limited and Bulk Pack Services Limited.
