Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state today March 24 gave the veteran Nollywood entertainer, Lanre Hassan prominently known as Iya Awero, a three-room apartment.
Uncovering this on Twitter, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile, said the Governor gave over the keys of the loft to the entertainer as he authorized, conveyed, and renamed the LagosHoms, Igbogbo as Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate, Igbogbo.
Giving over the keys to her, Governor Sanwo-Olu said
”You don’t have to commend them when they pass on. You can commend them when they are as yet alive. You can commend them when they are as yet alive. This our Nollywood star who has worked for more than 30-to 40 years. She should be commended. Congrats”
