The president of Chad, Idriss Derby has sadly passed away. According to an anonymous army spokesman, the president died as a result of the injuries he sustained on the frontline, Al-Jazeera reports.
This sad announcement was made only a day after Derby’s victory in the presidential elections, which had secured him a sixth term in the presidential office.
