BREAKING: Singers Omahlay and Tems Released From Police Custody In Uganda.

Nigerian Musicians, Omahlay and Tems have been released from prison, after spending two days and nights in police custody in Uganda.

The two singers were arrested because they violated the Covid 19 guidelines in Uganda after they performed in a concert which was attended by several Ugandian youths.

On Monday, December 14th they were arraigned in court on charges of doing “acts that are likely to spread the infectious Covid-19.”

Omahlay and Tems were supposed to remain in police custody untill Wednesday December 16th when they would have had another court appearance. However it appears that their case has been waded off as they were both released from police custody today.

Official documents stating their release from Ugandan police custody was also shared on social media.
