Cristiano Ronaldo has handed Manchester United the name of a player to sign.

According to Calciomercato, Ronaldo wants Man United to sign Juventus winger, Federico Chiesa, as soon as possible.

The Portugal captain is keen to see Man United bring in some more creativity as Chiesa is linked to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo was a former teammate with Chiesa during his time at Juventus.

Meanwhile, respected football agent, Ivan Reggiani, who appeared as a guest on the website, claimed that a pursuit from Man United for Chiesa would be “heavily supported” by Ronaldo.

“I think there are very serious and important foreign pressures on him. Appreciated across the Channel [in England], he is heavily supported by Cristiano Ronaldo,” Reggiani said.

“I think Federico can leave Juventus very soon. It can easily exceed one hundred million. There are not only United: there are 2-3 clubs that could reach €120-130m (£102-£110m).”

Man United had signed Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window.
