David Adeleke, the superstar Afrobeats singer, who is popularly known as Davido, has disclosed how he tried to squash the beef between his fans and his colleague, Wizkid’s fans.
In a recent interview with BBC radio, Davido revealed that prior to the release of his “Timeless” album, he spoke to a fan who was regarded as a leader amongst the fans and informed him that he had no beef with Wizkid and they recently hung out, so he wanted the fans to put an end to the rivalry.
According to him, he wanted his album to be released in a peaceful, clean and harmonious environment.
Davido also mentioned that he recently spent time with Wizkid, and they have no issues between them.
He, however, stated the fans were amazing people but they do not listen because barely a few days after the discussion they still got into a fight with Wizkid’s fans despite his pleas.
