Davido Unfollows Rexxie After Mockery About Not Having a Grammy

Famous Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke unfollows the record producer, Rexxie on Instagram following a subtle mockery regarding the Grammys.

This came following a statement made by the producer on the X platform, bragging about his status in the music industry.

Rexxie, who asserted that he received nominations for his production work on Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album ‘Twice As Tall‘ and the Grammy-nominated song ‘Do Yourself’ by Angelique Kidjo and Burna Boy, proudly mentioned to a Davido fan on Twitter that he had been nominated for a Grammy before Davido.

He also mentioned receiving the “Gra” before stopping short, leaving the statement incomplete.

“Before your fav get Grammy I’ve already gotten it. I no use sympathy or dance with kids in uniform or attend the show early with my full squad and family members. Respect!” he stated in a now-deleted post.

Following the back and forth on X before Rexxie finally decided to delete the posts, Davido took it up and unfollowed the producer across social media platforms.
