DSS denies attempting to arrest Sunday Igboho, describes news as ‘fake’.

The Department of State Security (DSS) has denied any attempts by its operatives to arrest Sunday ‘Igboho’ Adeyemo, a Yoruba activist.

Speaking of behalf of DSS, public relations officer, Paul Affunanya described the news as ‘misinformation and fake’.

DSS denies attempting to arrest Sunday Igboho

In a statement released on Friday, February 26th, Afunanya told Nigerians to disregard the news of any attempted arrest of Sunday Igboho.

Afunanya said;

“The said news is misinforming and should be taken as fake and therefore be disregarded.

“The Department of State Services wishes to refute any news that it attempted to arrest one Sunday Igboho, today, at Ibadan, Oyo state.”
