Their tussle online comes as a shock after the duo appeared to be cool with each other few months ago.
It’s been a while since the social media space witnessed an entertainment of such magnitude. Perhaps, it would go down as an unforgettable day in the music industry as two of Nigeria’s music superstars, Davido and Wizkid engaged in a face-off online.
What started as an interactive session between Wizkid a.k.a Big Wiz and fans in the early hours of April 29 quickly turned to a ‘gbas gbos’ moment. Big Wiz called Don Jazzy an influencer and also trolled Davido by posting the viral video where he was crying and begging.
This caused an uproar on microblogging platform X as fans seized the moment to enjoy themselves.
Davido would reply later in the day with a tweet saying “they don forget your gbedu” as a cheeky sub to Wizkid, which literally translates means that the streets no longer resonates with Wizkid’s music.
Wizkid wouldn’t let go, as he went on to diss Davido and his entire crew including Peruzzi, who is perceived to be his song writer.

They continued with the dragging as Davido called Wizkid a 4ft man who shops for his shoes at Kids Footlocker. He also dared him to drop a solo song this Friday. Wizkid replied Davido saying he should drop one that he wrote himself.
