Igboho Warns Against Collecting Donations For His Treatment

His aide Olayomi Koiki in a statement said the Yoruba Nation agitator did not solicit funds for his treatment.

Oduduwa Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has warned against raising donations for his treatment.

Sunday Igboho, who is in detention in Benin Republic, was reported to have been rushed to a hospital over alleged liver disease.

However, his aide Olayomi Koiki in a statement said the Yoruba Nation agitator did not solicit funds for his treatment.

“I have just received a message from Chief Adeyemo’ lawyer that I should inform the public that he (Igboho) has not asked anyone to demand money towards his medical treatment in Benin Republic.

“Information has it that some individuals have been collecting money for Igboho’s medical bill,” the statement read.

Mr Koiki said Sunday Igboho was using the opportunity to appeal to the government of Benin Republic to allow him travel to Germany to seek proper medical attention.
