Reverend Lefoko Mogotsi, an experienced clergyman with over 9 years in the priesthood, announced his resignation through a heartfelt video on TikTok.

Reverend Mogotsi revealed that he had been grappling with depression and anxiety for a number of years, and the pressures associated with his role as a priest had taken a significant toll on his well-being.

He wrote;

“After 9 years of being a priest, I am making the hardest decision of my life. I’ve decided to let go of my calling for the sake of my mental health. I am walking away. Judge me all you want.”
