The ex-BBNaija housemate has been in critical condition since he was involved in a ghastly auto accident.
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey has been pronounced dead.
The former housemate was involved in a ghastly motor accident which required urgent medical attention. He was placed on life support machines after the accident.
The duo of BBNaija stars, Alex and Tobi Bakare confirmed the death of their colleague on social media platforms, after initially pleading with fans and well-wishers to raise funds for the deceased.
“Please help save Rico. He had a really bad car accident,” Tobi wrote on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, to ask the public for donations.
However, this was not enough to save his life as he eventually gave up the ghost on Thursday, 13 October 2022.
“This is how I will remember you brother, “ Tobi wrote on Twitter to share the sad news.
Alex also tweeted: “This is not what we agreed Rico. Rest in peace.”
