Man Utd Ready to Sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Inter Milan

Manchester United are prepared to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £10 million amid interest from Inter Milan, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The right-back struggled for minutes during the first half of last season due to injuries, but he was a regular starter in the final months.

Wan-Bissaka delivered a fantastic performance in the FA Cup final against Manchester City, where he managed to contain Jeremy Doku.

Despite this, he could be on the move, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2025.

United have not opened talks over a possible extension and TuttoMercatoWeb claim that they are prepared to sell him for a minimum of £10m.

Inter Milan have identified him as a top target after speaking with their new owners. They are ready to offer a three-year deal worth £44,000 per week.

Wan-Bissaka could replace Denzel Dumfries, who has been tipped to leave the Nerazzurri, having not agreed a fresh contract beyond June 2025.

United should demand a higher price for Wan-Bissaka

Wan-Bissaka is one of the best defensive right-backs in England. The £50 million signing showed his class at Wembley with some terrific defensive contributions in the second half.

However, this may not be sufficient to keep his place at United. Diogo Dalot started at left-back during the final months due to the absence of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

The Portuguese should reclaim his right-back role next term. Wan-Bissaka could be kept as his deputy, but manager Erik ten Hag (if he stays) may want an attacking right-back to compete for places.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong is a top target for the club and he could be signed for a relatively cheap price of £34m due to a release clause which expires on June 13.

United will want to recoup funds from Wan-Bissaka’s sale before purchasing Frimpong. The club should still demand a higher fee, considering he is in the prime of his career as a 26-year-old.

There are several Premier League clubs that can offer a higher sum and salary. If Wan-Bissaka has his sights on joining Inter, the Red Devils may have no choice but to accept a low offer.
