Hansi Flick spoke of the French forward’s talents ahead of Bayern Munich’s trip to Parc des Princes on Tuesday for the second leg of the Champions League quarter finals. Flick revealed that the Paris Saint Germain star “will win the Ballon d’Or one day” while speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the encounter.
“He will win the Ballon d’Or one day, I am absolutely convinced of that. He has everything,” Flick said.
“He is fast, he has a good technique and – what is most important – he scores a lot of goals.”
Mbappe scored twice against the Bundesliga giants in the first leg at the Allianz Arena, taking his tally to eight goals in eight matches in the competition. Meanwhile, he has also scored 25 goals in domestic competition this season – including 21 goals in Ligue 1.
His two goals ensured that PSG ran out 3-2 winners in the first leg of the tie, with Bayern now hoping to make a comeback to ensure they progress to the next stage of the competition.
