The Governor of New York Andrew Mark Cuomo has announced his resignation as the Governor of New York. His resignation was promoted after 11 women accused the Governor of sexual harassment.

New York is one of the busiest and famous states in the world. Andrew Mark Cuomo who is the 56th Governor of New York was elected into power on January 1, 2011. However, a report of 168-pages was released accusing him of sexual harassment ranging from unwanted groping, kissing, inappropriate comments, and lots more.
Andrew Mark Cuomo is a member of the Democratic Party and the son of Mario Matthew Cuomo, the 52nd Governor of New York. His brother Chris Cuomo, is a popular CNN journalist. Chris Cuomo is known as the presenter of Cuomo Prime Time.
Today, the 10th of August 2021, marks the beginning of the end of Andrew Mark Cuomo’s tenure as the Governor of New York. His resignation will be in effect two weeks from now.
After which, Lieutenant Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York will take over his position as Governor. This will be the 62-year-old the first female Governor of New York.
