The comedian plans to join his family soon in the United States as he assures his fans and well wishers that he and his family are okay.

The home of popular Nigerian comedian Ay Makun went up in flames in Lagos, but the comedian has cleared all doubts that he and his family were affected by the incident.

In a viral video posted on twitter on Sunday, August 6, 2023, the comedian and actor’s two-storey building was seen engulfed by flames.

This caused many celebrity and well-wishers alike to worry about the welfare of the comedian and his family, whether they were in the house at the time of the fire or not.

To calm the situation, the comedian took to his Instagram page and posted a video alongside two pictures of his wife and his youngest daughter, while he reflected on the most important things in his life. He also expressed his excitement about joining them ‘in a few days time’ in the United States.

He wrote: “Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days.”
