One life has been lost in multiple accidents which occurred at the popular Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Friday.
The accident involved a Tanker loaded with 45,000 litres of premium motor spirit (PMS) and four vehicles.
A video had earlier trended online showing some people scooping fuel from the fallen Tanker.
According to the state Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), upon arrival of the Agency’s tiger team at the incident scene, it was observed that the multiple accidents involved a tanker with an unknown registration number.
The Permanent Secretary confirmed that a single fatality (adult male) died from the accident, saying his remains had been evacuated from the scene.
