The response Nigerian singer-songwriter, Wizkid gave his former record label, Bankole Wellington for saying he was disappointed he missed his wedding has stirred a frenzy on social media.
However, Wizkid’s response cannot be unconnected to a statement he made on his Snapchat page some months back.
With a number of netizens sharing varying opinions to his controversial “LOL” tweet some hours back, with many saying he gave a vibe of not being humble and all, the fact that Wizkid gave that response should not be unconnected to a statement he made on his Snapchat page some months back.
Recall that on his Snapchat some months back, after the singer was linked to some controversial happenings at the time, he stated that his answer to everything will be “Lol” and “Ok” and telling whoever it may concern to “Chop life”.

While a lot of netizens have given his “Lol” tweet to Banky’s statement a lot of interpretations, it’s pretty obvious that the “No stress” singer did only what he said he would.
The only issue with this now, is given the social construct on the internet space, the acronym “lol” which means “laugh out loud” has a myriad of meanings. In Wizkid’s case, it’s quite hard to decipher which meaning he uses but it’s we know we’re going to get from him as response to Banky’s statement.
