Samuel Chukwueze’s first UEFA Champions League goal for AC Milan has sent Nigerian football lovers talking on social media.

The Nigerian international scored his first Champions League goal for the Italians since joining from Villarreal last summer.

The goal came after AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli hailed the winger and pointed to injury as the reason for his low start to life in the Serie A.

Chukwueze netted his Champions League goal first for the Italian giants but his goal could not stop AC Milan from going 3-1 down to Borussia Dortmund.

“Chukwueze has scored his third Champions League goal and his first for Milan,” a fan noted on X.

“Let’s forget about Mbappe or Halaand and talk of Samuel Chukwueze’s goal against Dortmund.

No Nigerian will pass without liking this,” another said.
