Witches, wizards call on Dino Melaye to consult them ahead of Kogi elections

The group affirms that it would be difficult for Dino Melaye to win the Kogi governorship elections if he does not consult them.

The White Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria has advised the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for the upcoming Kogi State elections, Senator Dino Melaye to seek their counsel ahead of the elections in November.

According to a statement signed by the association’s spokesman, Okhue Oboi, the association urged Melaye to consult them if he wants to win the election.

The statement also stated that the association has already consulted with the major tribes in the state, and it would be in Melaye’s best interest to consult them.

“We advise Melaye to see us if he is desirous of realizing his governorship dream. If he listens to our advice, he will laugh because the trees and waters of the confluence state will vote for him regardless of whether Wike supports him or not.

“If he fails to see the witches and wizards, he will regret it because he will not win the election,” Oboi’s statement read in part.

However, Governor Wike, in an earlier interview, laughed off Dino Melaye’s quest to become the next governor of the Kogi State. He stated that the PDP candidate does not have what it takes to assume such position.
