A wise man said Fear has two meanings. Forget Everything and Run or Face Everything and Rise. One must choose their fear and live by it. Have you ever gone out with a group of friends to the park and all your friends went for a ride on the Ferris Wheel and you were so scared you decided not to join them but rather, stay and watch and when it was all over there was this feeling of regret that you didn’t participate just because you were afraid.(It might have not been a Ferris Wheel. It might have been something else you were scared of).

We all have fears. Fear of being rejected, Fear of being alone, Fear of heights, Fear of Failure, Fear of the unknown and many others. Fear is a strong weapon that can destroy a person mentally, physically, spiritually and even socially. Don’t get me wrong, It”s okay to be scared, It’s normal to be afraid but the real problem is when you let your fear control you.

You are the only one that can conquer your fear. Don’t ever give in to fear cause when you do, you gradually lose control of yourself. Your fear starts to control you and rule over you. It will stop you from doing what you want to do. It will make you a shadow of yourself and it will bring about regrets. Many people say I rather not try than try and fail. They say that because they are scared of failure, scared of losing. I believe that even if you have regrets, It should be based on the fact that you tried and failed than you didn’t even try at all.

Many have lost opportunities, relationships and the likes, all because they were scared of the results. They decided not to go for it at all caused they believed that was safer. Now the real question is “HOW DO I CONQUER MY BIGGEST ENEMY?” It all starts with a little bit of confidence, faith in one-self, and yes be open to failure, don,t quit cause you failed because if you don’t fail, you won’t learn. Keep trying until you let go of that fear.

I don’t know if many of you can relate to that feeling you get when you attempt or do something you were really scared of and it worked out fine, and you are like ” Oh Wow, It wasn’t event that big of a deal” and you will want to do that thing over and over again. You know why? It’s because there is this happiness that comes from overcoming your fear.

I know most of us want to conquer this big enemy. We want to overcome our fears, but we are scared. My only advice is that you should take the risk and see how it goes and even if you fail remember that is just the First Attempt In Learning (FAIL).
