A 21-year old man was arrested in Delta State for trying to steal an air conditioner in Ika South Local Government Area of the state.
Aigbe Onyisi, who happens to be an ex-convict was apprehended by officers of the Anioma Security Network while trying to flee with the electronic appliance.
After getting nabbed, Onyisi confessed to having connived with one Aboi to steal the AC but unfortunately, he ran out of luck while his accomplice escaped.
According to the Coordinator of the Anioma Security Network Ika zone, Cadet Nwanne Ajari, the suspect has been terrorizing marketers around the vicinity.
Ajari stated that the suspect has been apprehended multiple times and had just been released from prison after serving his punishment for previous crimes.
However, Onyisi pleaded for leniency as he claimed he had no one to help him. He also stated that he learnt barbing but he couldn’t raise the capital to establish the business.
