Looks have always had privileges since time immemorial. Generally, it is assumed that only the glamorous attract privileges due to their appearance. Surprisingly, here is a real-life story of a paedophile dwarf that was spared prison based on his stature.

Bryan Anthony Bowen, a 31-year-old dwarf has escaped jail time twice because of his stature. Bryan Anthony Bowen was charged in 2017 for being a paedophile. In 2019, he was arraigned in court for breaching the 2017 imposed court order.

In 2017, Bowen requested sexual acts and nude pictures from underage girls. The girls were 13 and 15 respectively when via Facebook Bryan Anthony Bowen had asked for their nudes and sexual actions.

He harassed a 15-year-old by sending her a message stating,  “Do you want to f***?” The teenage girl attempted to block him but before she could, he sent another inappropriate message. The second message was, I will f*** you for your birthday present.”

Bowen was arrested for his harassing texts to the 15-year-old. In the course of going through his laptop, some inappropriate messages he had sent to a 13-year-old was discovered.

The paedophile was charged to court and he pleaded guilty to the 2 counts of stimulating a child to perform a sexual act. He also claimed he was unaware of their ages and had assumed that they were 16 years old.

Despite the fact Bowen pleaded guilty, the presiding Judge Rhys Rowland, described him as “small in stature and emotionally inadequate.” He also asserted that Bowen would have a “very hard time” in prison. And that the accused had learning difficulties and attended a special school and was just “trying to live out some sort of fantasy.”

As opposed to a 48-week prison sentence, Bowen got a rehabilitation order and a 3-month curfew between 7 a.m and 9 p.m. Nevertheless, he was registered as a sex offender for 10 years.

Bowen in Court Again

After the 2017 court case, in 2019, Bowen was again arraigned in court for breaching the sexual harm order that was imposed in 2017. He was caught using a phone after lying to the police that he had none. He equally deleted his internet history.

Once again, he pleaded guilty. Nevertheless, Judge Niclas Parry, the presiding judge, ruled that the defendant had learnt his lesson and should be allowed to go.

It has been years since any news of him.

Honestly, people should desist from harassing women and teenagers. It is unpleasant and traumatising.
