The endless tales of brutality and harassment at the hand of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a unit of police force set up to deal with violent crimes has made Nigerians including many celebrities call out for the dissolution of the unit.
Afrobeats Star, Ayedeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has voiced out his support for the EndSARS protest and blasted Nigeria’s President, Buhari for keeping silent on the EndSARS case and sending quick recovery wishes to US President , Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, who tested positive for Coronavirus recently.

Buhari’s message to Donald Trump seems to have annoyed Wizkid, as the singer sent a comment retweet blasting President Buhari for sending recovery wishes to the US President amidst the EndSARS protest in the country.

Wizkid in his tweet calls President Buhari an ‘Old man’, and states that Buhari has no business with America.
According to the Afrobeats Star, Buhari should face his country and do something about the rate of police brutality in the country rather than send recovery wishes to the US President.

Wizkid’s message to the President brought about mixed reactions from his fans. While some supported him for using his platform to speak up for Nigerians, others were against him for being rude to the President.
A Nigerian Lady, named Zara Gambo has said that she does not like the way Wizkid addressed Buhari in his tweet and because of his disrespectful behavior she is no longer a Wizkid fan.
