Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode on Tuesday reacted to the backlash surrounding the outfit of the All Progressive Congress vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima at the opening ceremony of the Nigerian Bar Association’s annual general conference.

Shettima showed up at the conference in Lagos on Monday dressed in a suit, red tie and a pair of sneakers. He represented his party’s presidential candidate Bola Tinubu at the conference.

A photo of him seated with his suit buttoned and his tie bulging has elicited various reactions. Many of his critics said Shettima lacks style.

Reacting to the comments, Fani-Kayode said in a tweet that Nigerians should be more concerned about Shettima’s eloquence and composure at the conference.
