Nigerian afrobeat sensation Burna Boy has tackled Wizkid FC on twitter after some members lauched a new targeted online assault on the star.
In the early hours of Tuesday, one of Wizkid’s die-hard fans known on Twitter as Mr Mdee posted a tweet claiming that Burna Boy’s sold-out show with 1600 attendees went for $14 and a free CD.
According to him, the ticket price and the free CD was a ploy to ensure Burna Boy got a number single in the UK.
These false claims didn’t sit well with the Burna Boy’s fans who tackled the fan.
Burna Boy himself, who has had the fan base as thorns in his flesh for years, couldn’t resist the urge to reply to the fan.
