Neymar scored an hat-trick for Brazil in their world cup qualifier match against Peru on Tuesday.

He scored a penalty in each half of the encounter before tapping home from close range. Neymar has now scored 64 goals in 103 appearances for the Selecao.

The PSG star has now surpassed the great Ronaldo as second in the ranks for most goals for the nation. Ronaldo scored 62 goals in 98 games for Brazil, winning two World Cups, two Copa America and a Confederations Cup for the country.

Shortly after recovering from the virus, he was shown a straight red card in the match against Marseille, in which he claims he was racial abused. However, Neymar would return to action for PSG in the 2-0 victory against Reims after serving a two-match ban, before scoring twice in the 6-1 hammering of Angers earlier this month.
