The pendant of Afrobeats star Mayorkun was reported missing on Tuesday, December 19, in Calabar, the Cross Rivers state capital, has been recovered.
The singer had gone to the state to perform at the invitation of the state government. Sadly, his pieces of jewellery were stolen and he came online to condemn the act and stated he would never revisit the state.
He also described the incident as a ‘’Nightmare”.
On Wednesday, one of the pieces of jewellery was found and he went online to pledge a N5 million reward for anyone who returned the second one.
This afternoon, his colleague, Iyanya, gave an update, saying the jewellery had been returned.
